End user can disable and quit the application. Can this be prevented?

All of the good benefits that this application has, and certainly has much, are compromised with the possibility of an end user to disable or quit it.

Maybe there is an option do prevent this and I didn't found it. If so please help me.

Thanks in advance,

The app itself has no option to prevent that. You can setup using the built-in DoH support https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-server/networking/dns/doh-client-support then don't give the end user admin access, but that still doesn't stop users from just enabling DoH in their browser to use other servers.

      Martheen  Hi,

      Thank you for your reply.

I hope that the option to prevent end user to disable or exit the application (by prompting for password) will be soon added to future update. As I think it is very important please tell me whom do I have to write about this issue to be proceed to developers?

Dejan A This forum is one way to gauge what features are wanted and for the devs to decide whether it's worth implementing. I don't think they're interested since it has been brought up since years ago (search around for "prevent disable") and as I said, it doesn't actually stop users from just switching to other DoH providers in the browser. Thus, they can't really expect extra sales from the parental control market. And how should they deal with someone forgetting (or claiming to forget) their password? There are countless easier bug & feature to deal with and they haven't get around to do those.

      Martheen

I'm very disappointed that there is no interest in solving this issue, and it is an issue! It's like having new beautiful car without safety locks on the rear doors and your children can open the door anytime.

      Thank you for your patience,

      B.R.
