custom domain as dns server

I want to use my custom domain as dns server, so I added cname for my subdomain to redirect to apple.dns.nextdns.io but it is not working.

When I visit my subdomain, it shows nextdns block page.

I’m not sure what you’re trying to do but it sounds possibly like rebinding protection. Check your logs to find out for sure

your plan to get DNS service like NEXTDNS using another Domain is always impossible unless You do self Hosted AUTHORATIVE / RECURSIVE / PUBLIC DNS app .

You need to Buy a Cloud server with SSH access install TECHNITIUM DNS self hosted app in server than configure it as Public Dns Host for Internet access and security

. You can not randomly create a CNAME record and use a service through Your Domain .
