Google Gemini blocked?

Within the last hour I attempted to open the Google Gemini app on my iPhone. It would not load, said "no connection". I have NextDNS set up on my router. I then connected to a VPN on my iPhone and Gemini loaded fine. It's a DNS problem. What's up?
