Router Sends DNS Queries to NextDNS, but Profile Is Not Recognized and Logs Are Empty

Hello NextDNS Community,

I'm configuring NextDNS on my Xiaomi Mi Router 4A Gigabit so all devices connected to my home Wi-Fi use my NextDNS profile.

Profile ID: a47ef6

Router configuration:

• WAN DNS: 45.90.28.106, 45.90.30.106

• LAN DHCP advertises the same DNS servers.

• Linked IP: 103.173.26.13 (green checkmark)

• DDNS hostname configured and enabled.

What I've verified:

1. Windows receives the NextDNS IP addresses through router DHCP.

2. Packet captures confirm that my Windows laptop (192.168.1.9) and Fire TV (192.168.1.6) send DNS queries to 45.90.28.106 and receive responses.

3. NextDNS Setup still displays: “This device is not using NextDNS” and identifies Gazon Communications India Limited as the DNS resolver.

4. The Logs page remains empty even though logging, client IP logging, and domain logging are enabled.

5. test.nextdns.io reports status: unconfigured and resolver 103.239.84.254.

Could someone help determine why DNS requests reach the NextDNS resolver IPs but aren't being recognized under my profile or appearing in its logs? I'd also appreciate advice on the best way to configure profile-specific DNS on this Xiaomi router.
