Unable to login to Guild Wars 2 game

Note that this has never been an issue.. I have been using nextdns with guild wars 2 for years now.. 

I suddenly am not able to login into the game today.. nothing notable was being blocked in the nextdns logs regarding gw2.. disabled anti virus, repaired the game, restarted pc, router, reset settings etc. The only thing that worked was disabling nextdns. 

Can anybody help?
