Unable to activate service on Ubiquiti Dream Machine Pro

I saw several people with this issue about activating the NextDNS service on the UDM-Pro.  I sent an email to NextDNS on 4/2/21, no response. Is this a known issue and they're working on it? Are their support reps on extended vacation?  Has anyone found a workaround to get NextDNS working on the UDP Pro?
