What NOT to post in public (here on help.nextdns.io or anywhere else)

What you should never post in public:

-Profile ID (it is present where the red markings are in the photo) - If someone else has it, it can be used and will polute your logs and analytics or use your quota. If you exposed the ID https://my.nextdns.io - Settings - Duplicate - Start using the new one and delete the exposed one.

-Email address (when you create a profile on help.nextdns.io do not put your email address as user name)

-Password

-API key

-Your IP address (it is problematic if you  have static IP)

Only give them to NextDNS staff (if asked) in a private message.

When you post the Endpoints for encrypted DNS edit the ID

If you post a screenshot crop, blur or paint the sensitive parts.
