Best security for new Android tablet before WiFi connection

Need most secure sequence to setup DNS on new android tablet before 1st connection to home wifi.

Any suggestions to avoid info gathering by Google, Facebook, Instagram, etc. Can change device ID, IMEI etc. Looking for best possible security/privacy. Using multiple VPNs and Mozilla Firefox  browser. Thanks in advance for your help.
