NextDNS Server(s) Down?

Excuse me Please:

I am noting an extreme amount of browsing/resolving issues as of this morning while using NextDNS w/i YogaDNS application.

After power-cycling all networking devices an PC, the problem still exists.

GRC.com's DNS Benchmark indicates .28 is DOWN(not accepting requests)

and YogaDNS indicated request timeouts for NextDNS server.

switching to cicso-familysshield(208.67.220.123) w/i YogaDNS restores, basically instantly, Internet browsing/resolution.

any confirmation/suggestions?

Ceyarrecks W. (CAH) I think I found your diag, but next time, please post the diag id.

Seems like there is a routing issue via NTT between your ISP and our primary. Secondary works fine and should take over.  In Yoga, make sure you have ultra low latency enabled for nextdns.

    NextDNS said:

Thank you for your response; may I ask for a rephrased explanation of the above statement please?

Ultra-Low is always checked. However, when NextDNS was sole resolver within Yoga, DNS resolution was nearly non-existent (rather like DNS was prior to me switching to DNSsec and YogaDNS from all the Voyeurism t-mobile does.)

also note, I am NOT using NextDNS in Yoga atm; OpenDNS(cicso-familysshield(208.67.220.123)) is what I had to switch using to be able to browse.

Ceyarrecks W. (CAH) if you enable nextdns alone in yoga again, does it still fail? If yes, what are the logs?

NextDNS well,.. this time NextDNS "checks" at 143 RTT, and setting YogaDNS' Default to use NextDNS, results in no disruption to browsing or the MMORPG currently in use.

will you be explaining the previous statement of "Seems like there is a routing issue via NTT between your ISP and our primary." or shall I just go a get a Degree in Network Engineering and figure it out for myself? >:[

Ceyarrecks W. (CAH) the network path used by your ISP to join our primary anycast IP is going through a congested interconnection (via NTT). We opened a ticket to make that fixed.
