Feature proposal - add "Linked ipv6 (DDNS)" feature

As a title say I have feature proposal but let me elaborate a little bit. My ISP provides dual stack IP implementation. We get one public /56 PD ipv6 and one so-called CGNAT ipv4 adress. Because of CGNAT (Carrier-Grade NAT) nature our ipv4 adress is bassically private (100.x.x.x.) and a lot of us share same public ipv4 adress. So current nextdns DDNS implementation do not work for us. I suggest implementing Linked ipv6 DDNS feature on https://my.nextdns.io/setup page by linking users ipv6 address

  1. programmatically update your linked IPv6 by calling link provided by NextDNS
  2. Configuring DDNS option with AAAA record (ipv6 hostname)
  3. Linking option for user public ipv6 adress

I would also suggest to implement check box for ipv4 and ipv6 so user can check first, second or both options...

You don’t need linked IP with IPv6, you get dedicated IPv6 for each profile.

you are right... its a ipv6 with my nextdns ID in it... sorry for a false alarm and thank you... but you can consider allowing DDNS with AAAA record...

Hranislav Milenkovic it wouldn’t work as link ip is only supported (and needed) on IPv4
