This device is not using NextDNS.
Seems like Apple's private relay is blocking NextDNS from working properly? I like the Apple concept, but also like the idea of NextVPN... would like to hear thoughts. Worth disabling the Apple thing?

The NextDNS team has confirmed that Private Relay is indeed interfering with NextDNS.
They say Apple needs to fix this, though I doubt that will happen…

It's working fine together as long as you disable the NextDNS block page feature (the cosmetic landing page when something was blocked) in your NextDNS settings.
You'll see your NextDNS and the Private Relay DNS on sites like https://browserleaks.com/ip. NextDNS filtering/blocking still works, the NextDNS status icon will however show the DNS exit server from Private Relay.
