unable to connect to nexdnds dns from iphone with mobile network

despite the nextdns vpn profile installed and selected, when on mobile network I consistently have the message "this device currently uses name of mobile network as DNS resolver".

I have reinstalled the profile, created a new one, added the nextdns application, removed it...without success

Any idea? it was working fine without the smallest issue during the previous months.

    follow-up on my own issue. It looks like 1blocker app is interfering with nextdns. I'm not sure it was the case before. Unactivating 1blocker solve my nextdns problem. I just have to decide which one I keep now :)

    Here’s the issue: 1Blocker installs itself as a pseudo VPN and iOS will always prioritize DNS queries through the VPN settings instead of any local DNS profile that’s installed.  After all, 1Blocker is a DNS-based blocker for in-app blocking.

    I complained to 1Blocker about this, and they will be supporting DoH at some point in the future.
