All devices are unknown.

Hello, when adding all devices, routers and mobile devices, they only appear as a device called Unknown Devices.

There is a problem blocking ads in the YouTube application.

What way did you setup your devices to use NextDNS? If only used DNS IP addresses then it is not possible to “identify” them by this setup.

The YouTube apps work differently and adverts are loaded from the same domain as the actual content, because of this it’s impossible to block them using a DNS service. You should use alternative apps to view YouTube for removing the ads.

Various devices have been added, including 3 MikroTik devices, but they appear as one unknown device.

I followed the entire method of adding the devices as explained in the instructions.

To block ads on the YouTube app, the AdGard ad blocking system was working.

Help with adding device names to the logs requires the exact setup used, as without it I can only give generic instructions.

      For Private DNS/DoT:

devicename-abc123.dns.nextdns.io (where abc123 is your configuration ID)

      And for DoH:

      https://abc123.dns.nextdns.io/devicename/
