Using Profiles

I have set up a profile, and then set up NextDNS using the "DNS over HTTPS" settings, recommended for Windows 11. I can't use IPv6. 

 

If I just follow those settings I get the message that the "This device is using NextDNS with no profile" and to use the Linked IP.  But the Linked IP section says "If you are unable to set up NextDNS using our apps, DNS-over-TLS, DNS-over-HTTPS or IPv6, then use the DNS servers below and link your IP. "

 

I can set it up over DNS-over-HTTPS, so I am confused if I must still use the Linked IP anyway, because I want to use a profile?

    Make sure your browser DoH setting is either disabled or set to your NextDNS DoH address.
