Using a high-latency server for DNS resolution

I've switched to NextDNS from OpenDNS (which seems no more maintained) around a week ago. The thing is, when checked or ping, it often connects to a server in AMS or FRA which reports a ping of over 200 ms. Sometime later, it connects to 'do-blr' which is relatively fine. My request is, can you make it connect to either 'ls-bom' or 'vultr-bom' servers?
