Unable to install Configuration Profile on MacOS 26

I'm unable to install the Configuration Profile created by https://apple.nextdns.io on MacOS26 as it fails with the error message "The 'VPN Service' payload could not be installed. The VPN service could not be created." no matter which settings I choose in the Profile Creator.
