NextDNS working and stating all good but not working

Hey

I am testing the service to see if it can help me manage my homes. I need some blocking services and this looks just like something I'd need.

I have installed the service on my USG and connected it. I received the All good under configuration and I have checked that it's filtering under Logs.... Except it's not. It doesn't block anything. It just seems like it's reporting but not actually blocking.

I have tried flushing DSN cache on my PC and the gateway and I have even placed a docker container on a separate server on the network to check if the browser is caching anything. It doesn't work as you can see from the screenshot. The most blatant webpage gets logged but as you can see side by side I can fully access it. I have even set a custom blocklist just to check and it's still there.

      Hey Not by accident. I just didn't see a problem with one nude and one half nude picture. :) I have edited out most of it so everyone should be happy.

      Blaz Pivk Well, there could be younger tech savvy people on the forums so there is an risk. But yeah other than that, I'd use the Pornography blocklist in the parental controls section and reboot the device to clear the cache. That should block most of the well known website, but as with everything it's not a bulletproof 100% since there could always be this unknown website that isn't blocked.

      Hey I did all that. Also I didn't go to an unknown website just to test it I went to the most blatant one.

      Adds also display but the hit counter is rising so something does hit the cache it just doesn't work.

    have you tried blocking "www.pornhub.com" ?
