It is an immediately necessary. 2021

 

implementing it is extremely easy in Safari mobile

    I don't feel like this is "immediately necessary" given all the other work they have. Especially when there are dozens of dark mode extensions you can install on your browser.

      tobycth3 sure, but it also takes almost no time, and it's a people-pleaser... plus the extensions, I try to minimize them, and dislike many of them, so the more native support there is, the better IMHO.

    If you’re concerned about the NextDNS website itself, you can just use a Safari Extension like Noir on iOS/iPadOS 15 to enable auto-dark mode switching (and forcing sites to dark mode).

    Would love to see this as someone that is visually impaired. I currently use DarkReader for Chrome but would be great to see native support.
