Display of device_id or device_name seems to be random

I am using the nextdns-cli client in my network as local DNS proxy to the NextDNS servers. It seems to work fine but when I look at the logs in the webgui I see that devices are randomly showing up by their device_id or their device_name.

To illustrate this here is an extract from my logs:

As seen from the logs the device is always correctly identified by the device_id however it seems random if the device_name is also shown in the logs.

I don't understand why one query would correctly have the device_id and device_name and the next query just has the device_id but is missing the device_name.
