Problems with eduroam
Hello!
When I connect to an eduroam wifi I cannot use nextdns.
Some context: eduroam (education roaming) is an international Wi-Fi internet access roaming service for users in research, higher education and further education. It provides researchers, teachers, and students network access when visiting an institution other than their own. Users are authenticated with credentials from their home institution, regardless of the location of the eduroam access point. Authorization to access the Internet and other resources are handled by the visited institution.
On macos I'm using NextDNS CLI (command line) and on my iPhone the profile installer. When I stop the client on macos I can use internet again. If I start the client and check the log (sudo nextdns log) this is what a I get:
Error: exit status 1
Thanks for your help!

This is probably something with the specific eduroam provider, not related to eduroam in general. I was on campus today and had no problem using nextDNS while connected to eduroam.

Yes, it is probably not a general problem, however it happens to me with two different universities. Any advice on how I could fix it?
