How to switch between profiles?

I created 2 profiles, one with blocking and one without.

Isn't there a way to switch between them? I keep getting "This device is using NextDNS with another profile. This device is currently using ”MyProfileName.”.

I thought I could switch my PC from one profile to the other depending on the need.

       No, I have not figured this out. 3 weeks, and nobody here seems to have any thoughts.

       It’s a bit difficult to figure out a way without knowing how or what you are using to connect to NextDNS.

      In generic terms all you need to do is switch the profile IDs in the endpoint strings.

       Hello. Thanks for the reply. I'm using the IPv4 (with Linked IP) settings. I tried the Windows Installer but, as I mentioned in another thread, the Installer is not signed and I cannot get it installed. I don't see anywhere to add the endpoint strings.

      I'm running NextDNS on both a  Windows 7 and Windows 8 box.

       Ah, I see. Thanks for the info.

      Using only the IPv4 addresses, to switch between different profiles you will need to change the dns IPs manually each time you want to switch. Each profile will have a different pair of IP addresses in the linked IP section. Also make sure your IP is correctly linked in both profiles.

       Thank you.

      I was able to create .bat files and use netsh to switch both primary and secondary DNS addresses. I have .bat files to switch back and forth between NextDNS and Google  and will try switching between NextDNS Profiles later. I don't foresee any problems. I was hoping it'd be easier.
