NextDNS profile bricking wifi on macOS

Basically title. I've got NextDNS set up on all of my devices and even some friends and I love it. However, lately (might have been since updating to Sequoia), my wifi gets bricked whenever I have the nextdns dns profile active. I'd need to turn it off for anything to actually load. Ethernet on the other hand is fine which is why I'm more confused. I did check to see if it was something relating to private relay, but it was not. It's not just my home wifi, but any wifi network will just be in a perpetual state of loading if the dns profile is active. Help pls!
