NEXT DNS profile in Router setup but no device name shown !

Hi Team NextDNS,

 

I was wondering how i cant get device name in my profile setting once i have setup in Router using DNS primary and secondary DNS?

In Wifi /networking properties i can see my Next DNS profile and working but cant be sure how many queries and made through the router!

I really wish if this gets sorted i will be so happy as a Network Administrator!

    You can only add a device name to the encrypted protocols. What you would need is a different way to connect to NextDNS rather than just IP addresses alone.

      Any suggestions i could use to get the device name from the router?

       You would need to use a computer or device capable of running the NextDNS CLI and have it connected to your local network all the time. There are also other DNS server software available ("AdGuard Home" for example).
