Windows 25H2 not applying nextdns server settings

After I configured IPV4 and IPV6 from the setup screen on nextdns website, I see that my windows machine is still not using nextDNS rather using the one from ISP. While I don't think it's my router as my Android device running android 16 connected to same wifi with nextdns as dns server works perfectly fine.

Though I found that using nextdns app makes the system to use nextdns server, which I'm reluctant to use another app for private dns rather than configuring it in Wifi router settings. Any help would be appreciated.

    Same issue with me. I don't have 25H2 (24H2). Used NextDNS Windows app and  CLI version but still using ISP or VPN DNS (NOT NEXTDNS !). There might be a new windows feature to bypass DoH (dnscache). I'm still investigating it. I have also setup IP v4/v6 for my WiFi NIC and nothing has changed.

       I managed to get it working using NextDNS app on windows other than that linked IP also works with regular dns server settings from the guide but not the regular DNS-Over-HTTPS guide doesn't seem to work as it should

       Hi, I removed everything from my system. Installed windows app. Web status stated that i am using NextDNS but all my queries bypassed it. Nothing was being blocked. For the time being i'm thinking of using Windows 11 DoH templates and Windows 11 NRPT to accomplish what i have lost from the CLI version on NextDNS.

      The other mystery is that i still have not identified why the CLI stopped working. I will continue my investigation on that too.
