The number of queries per month is "over 250,000", but actually below 25,000

I've received notifications from NextDNS to the effect that "You have made more than 250,000 queries this month, getting close to the free monthly quota of 300,000 queries." My account page tells me that I've indeed made 270,000+ queries this month.

But looking at my analytics page, I'm told that I've made less than 25,000 queries across all my devices since getting my account this month. Where's the error?

What is your log retention set to?

1 day.  I see, so analytics only build on the queries logged and not deleted? Good to know!

Perhaps a way to make this more understandable would be to cap the value in the drop-down menu “Last ...” in the analytics section to the max timeframe actually available as per log retention policy.
