iOS app not working on wifi iPad Air 14.6
i install the iOS app on an iPad Air ver 14.6, but it is not resolving anything and nothing is loading. there is no ACL/policies blocking any traffic outbound on the Juniper SRX320 . i.e port 53 and all other port and ip are permitted.
Works fine if i disconnect from the wifi, and use the build it Mobile network.
Install the NextDNS App on an Android Pixel phone ver 11, on the same vlan network, and that's working fine. is there any logs i can dig in for iOS?
it looks like the iOS is still Sending queries to the Local DNS obtained via DNS, even with the NextDNS enabled.

I Disabled the blocking for the category "Proxy/Anonymizer" in OpenDNS, now, NextDNS using the NextDNS app on the ipad is working!!! the DNS server provided by DHCP, the bind9 is using OpenDNS as the forwarder at the moment.
the question now is why does the NextDNS app needs to send queries to the DNS on the network, for it to work??? should it not use NextDNS servers directly???? am i missing something here???? -
