Domains not being blocked

Hi there

Firstly to the development team and engineers this is the best. I love the way nextdns works. Thanks you for building something so simple (even a not technical person can understand) and powerful too.

I'm having an issue blocking certain websites, it won't allow me to do that.

I goto the "Denylist" tab.

2. Input my domain I'm blocking without the http://

I.e I input www.example.com

Though it doesn't get blocked across my devices

Could take a few minutes for your local cache to clear.    You can also force a cache reset, but the method depends on the particular operating system.    Turn off/on WiFi is one brute force way to clear cache (assuming you’re on a wireless connection) that should work although it’s not always the most elegant way.    If you’re using NextDNS client on your device you can toggle it off/on….that’s what I do on iOS

Hi Calvin thanks for replying. So I tried all those things before I posted except for clearing the cache, how do I clear cache. Is cache just the stored memory of sites and setting and cookies you've visited?

Isaiah what you’re describing is the browser cache.   In this case you want to clear your network cache, which is completely different from the browser cache.    Every operating system is different.    What operating system are you using?   It will refresh itself after about 5 minutes regardless.
