Connection not stable

I have NextDNS setup on my router. It's working fine on all my computers except for my Linux computer running PopOS. On the NextDNS page it bounces back and forth between Green "All Good" that it's using NextDNS to Red "This device is not using NextDNS". I'm stumped at what could be causing this.

What browser are you testing this on?

Also try “curl -L https://test.nextdns.io” in command line as an alternative.

I'm using Firefox. I've tried test.nextdns.io When the green light is one, it says it's ok. When the red light is on it says it's unconfigured. I get the same thing in the command line. It just keeps bouncing back and forth.

Must be something on the system switching to some other dns servers rather than only using the DHCP set dns.

You'll have to do some digging into the network settings on that computer, to get to the root of the problem. It might even be some service running that’s changing things.

Yep, that was it. I figured it out. The DoH settings on my router were set to Cloudflare and I just changed the regular DNS setting to NextDNS.
