Google messages for web

Unable to sync google messages for web with android 14 phone (s23) using nextdns. I have monitored the logs when I try to sync but nothing is being blocked in the logs. When I disable private DNS on my android phone to off or something other than nextdns I am able to use QR code to sync my android google messages to the google for web messages no problem. This did not happen until a few months ago, I have not modified the settings for nextdns or google messages. Any suggestions would be grateful
