Abusing NextDNS affiliation discount

Someone on GitHub is sharing their configuration ID along with a link to their affiliation code.   The config ID is likely going over the limit for a free account, but they’re obviously hoping to receive affiliation discounts https://github.com/gabefletch/DeltaBlock

I assume they keep logs too. Big privacy issue.

Hi, I've since removed the affiliation code from the GitHub repo as I realize this is manipulative.
I have a paid account. As for logs, they are entirely disabled on the profile. You can see this for yourself if you add the Config ID and duplicate its settings using the "Duplicate" button on the "Settings" tab.

I realize that I should be more clear on the GitHub repo about what data is collected by my configuration, which is none at all.

You’re still violating the terms of service.  I’m baffled as to why your account hasn’t been disabled other than the devs/owners of the service haven’t noticed

In light of all this, I've decided to delete the profile and the GitHub repo. I don't believe I was ever in violation of the NextDNS terms,  since I was never collecting or publishing logs, nor had any intention to do so. However, using Config IDs as a method to share filters clearly has too many security concerns to be viable.
