nextdns-cli won't install on edgerouter er-x

Everytime I try to run sh -c 'sh -c "$(curl -sL https://nextdns.io/install)"' on my edgerouter er-x, nothing happens.

tried running sh -c 'DEBUG=1 sh -c "$(curl -sL https://nextdns.io/install)"', also nothing happens.

This er-x used to have nextdns-cli installed. I have to factory reset it since I forgot the logins due to it not being used for months.

Any idea why?
