how to enable bootstrap dns on android?

i see this option for profile on apple devices but not for android, any idea how?

    There's simply no way to do that natively in Android, unless you root and then input the domain and IP pair in the host file. Third party app like Rethink and AdGuard might be able to do it.

       so i basically can't use nextdns then? why otehr apps that you've mention can do it or even apple? i thought android is more flexible lol?
