UniFi CyberSecure by Proofpoint Compatibility?

I use the NextDNS CLI with my Unifi UDM SE and it works flawlessly.

I was debating about subscribing to the Unifi CyberSecure by Proofpoint offering but unsure if it will be compatible with the NextDNS CLI.  I don't think it uses DNS, but I can't verify.

Has anyone tried this?  I have the built-in Unifi IDS/IPS enabled with several threat categories in-use, and that hasn't caused any issues with NextDNS, so I'm assuming it piggy-backs off of that.

The advertise this as signatures, which implies that they work with the IPS/IDS system built into the Unifi system, which I think is suricata.  As such, I would not think this would interfere with using NextDNS or any other DNS system .

you are correct and there’s no compatibility issues running both. IDS/IPS does not interfere with DNS.

how did this work out for you? I'm thinking of doing the same and I'm curious as to your experience with it. Thanks.

Zero issues running Cybersecure with NextDNS CLI or Control D CLI.  Unknown if using the encrypted DNS feature in the Unifi control center interferes but I doubt it.
