DoH No Profile
So I am trying to setup DoH and I keep getting the status:
"This device is using NextDNS with no profile.
Make sure you use the DNS-over-HTTPS endpoint shown below."
On the setup page it rather unhelpfully says:
DNS-over-HTTPS
Append the name to the provided URL (the name should be URL encoded).
For "John's Firefox", you would use https://dns.nextdns.io/cd5ba9/John's%20Firefox as your DNS-over-HTTPS endpoint.
Ok, name of what? The profile? The endpoint changes with each profile so I find that weird. I have used https://dnscrypt.info/stamps/ and tried every variation I can think of. I feel like https://dnscrypt.info/stamps/ is pretty much the standard at this point so why is there no clear steps on how to create a stamp for DoH using it?
I've created the stamp with the DoH setting, DNSSEC checked, the other two options unchecked, /dns-query as the path and the endpoint URL provided in the setup page as the hostname. And it still just always says it is using NextDNS without a profile.

I’m confused, you say you want DoH but then it’s a dnscrypt stamp.
if you require the stamp format then simply copy the stamp from the Linux setup section and paste into the stamp creation page. All the other fields will update accordingly.
Adding a name is to help identify that particular device in your logs. In your case the device name is put after the profile ID in the path section of the dns stamp (i.e. /abc123/devicename).
p.s. The path isn’t /dns-query that’s where you were going wrong. It should have been your profile ID there.
