Stop the sharing mechanism (Access)

Of course about overall, NextDNS is currently the best private DNS service today.  But I feel like the sharing feature is a bit abused. If Next stops this feature, it will get more paid users -> more profits to maintain the server, those users who have already participated would still keep that feature. Even 300k queries per month for free plan is better than other paid services out there lol

Huh? What sharing mechanism you're talking about? If you mean the profile access, how are they being abused? If you don't want it just don't use it on your profile.

Maybe referring to recent posts from people that want to use the Pro plan to protect an entire (small) company, rather than just sharing with family members?

Surely NextDNS can easily see if a Pro account has far more activity than expected from a common family, and then contact the account holder just to verify that their ID wasn't leaked and maybe cancel the subscription if there's no response.

If they don't do anything about it, I'd guess the effort of implementing, contacting, and handling the support call on false positives costs more than just leaving them. There are NextDNS endpoints hardcoded in both Chromium and Firefox, so they probably don't have any problem handling the extra traffic.
