amazon fire HD 10 , app installed but never actually shows in logs as working

this is an odd one as I have tested every other non fire HD (amazon tablet) and it works just fine, yet the amazon tablet i ran even ADB commands to force private DNS to show nextdns, it took the command seemed to work on my custom kids profile, tested it by blocking tiktok and worked in seconds, came back 2 hours later and tested again and its like the settings reverted.  The next dns app still running and connected to the kids profile yet tiktok connects again.  I feel like this is an amazon hardcoded thing that reverts the private DNS, any ideas?
