Android rewrite support?
Love NextDNS, thank you maintainers and community :)
I've run into what seems to be an issue on Android. Hoping someone might have insight/workaround.
Previously I created a DNS 'rewrite' by visiting this page:
https://my.nextdns.io/$myConfigID/settings
And creating a record pointing a domain to an IP running a web server
mydomain.test -> 1.2.3.4
This all works nicely on my Mac. I appreciate this because I can point Chrome on my Mac (running NextDNS) to `mydomain.test` and resolve + browse in the expected way.
However, for reasons I don't understand this does not seem to work on Android.
I'm on a Pixel 3 with NextDNS v1.2 (13), from the Play Store, installed. When I point Chrome on this device to mydomain.test, Chrome shows
ERR_NAME_CANNOT_BE_RESOLVED
Is there something I need to do? Or some other way to accomplish?
Would prefer to avoid rooting or using something else e.g. https://github.com/x-falcon/Virtual-Hosts
Thanks :)

Never mind, think I figured it out.
I had the impression installing the NextDNS app on Android would automate configuring DNS similarly to iPhone/Mac, but TIL that's not the case, apparently on Android, users have to manually visit the 'Private DNS' setting and enter the hostname by hand.
I guess I'll uninstall the NextDNS app since it's no longer clear what it offers
