Higher CPU Usage with NextDNS CLI installed in pfSense

My pfSense router's CPU usage is generally running between 2-4%. After installing the NextDNS CLI it's bounces between 40-60% consistently.

While I haven't come across and noticeable issues, I'm wondering if this increased tax on the CPU is to be expected and logical for what the add-on's function is.

    It should not be that high. What CPU do you have and is anything interesting happening in the logs?

      Thanks for the confirmation. Nothing out of the ordinary in the log. I will remove the package and reinstall it. If problem resists, I'll report back.
