Which DNS Address do i use when manually configuring wifi on ios

Hi Everyone, can someone please tell me which dns address to use from my Nextdns account when manually configuring the dns for my wifi connection on ios? For example i've read that its not recommended to use  link-ip on mobile, therefore, does this mean that i should use the IPv6 DNS Address (minus my Nextdns ID)?

    @newbie

    If I am not mistaken, that is the ip address listed at linked-IP. Then you do use your profile from nextdns but not secure and with no device name.

    On ios, it is actually advisable to use a configuration profile. Then wherever you go and are, you use your nextdns profile on both WiFi and mobile networks.
    The advantage of a configuration profile is that you always work on device name and profile.
    Then it does not matter whether you use IPv4 or IPv6.

    and Link-Id ip is not recommended for mobile devices because they change constantly there external IP. Linked-IP is recommended for the WiFi where ad home or work.

       I did wonder about that, but as i'm not using link-ip on mobile i figured perhaps its not the one to use but who knows. I am using a .mobileconfig certificate, i was just thinking of manually changing the dns settings within the ios wifi but maybe for the moment i'll leave it. Regarding the use of link-ip for wifi, is that if one has access to the router settings? As I don't have access to the router settings.

      Thanks for your reply
