Routing Request: Cellular DoT traffic routing to anexia-del-1 (380ms+ ping

While using Private DNS (DoT) on mobile data, my queries are consistently routed to the anexia-del-1 server in Delhi. Due to regional routing paths, this results in average latencies exceeding 380 ms.

Connection Details:

Public IP: 116.71.10.237

ISP / ASN: AS56167- PTML

NextDNS Server: anexia-del-1

Protocol: DoT

Please re-route or update the Anycast/BGP steering for this IP range to a closer edge node (e.g., Dubai/ME region).

Visit https://ping.nextdns.io first and reply with the list. Your provided info isn't enough to find a way to help.

Follow the instructions here https://help.nextdns.io/t/y4hmvcx/report-network-latency-issue and post the link generated from it here for  to look into.

It's not possible with private DNS (DoT) to specify an anycast server connection. Unless you can use a different way to connect to NextDNS, there's not much you can do to get a faster connection and will have to wait for NextDNS to make some changes.

The tool is not available to run on Android or iOS device. If you can manage to run a 'traceroute' to 'dns1.nextdns.io'  and 'dns2.nextdns.io', post the output back here.
