How to allow UK TV streaming?

Uk TV sites such as channel4.com and channel5.com not allowing streaming due to "ad-blocking". Narrowed it down to NEXTDNS (changing my DNS to ISP default allows streaming).

Have tried adding to allowed list - but still doesn't allow streaming. Any ideas??

I realise the original post was written two months ago, but my experience might help others landing on this page.

I had to whitelist these urls:

    *.user-sync.fwmrm.net

    *.c5ads.ott.skymedia.co.uk

    *.7f077.v.fwmrm.net

    *..cdn.http.anno.channel4.com

    Hi

I'm actually trying to do the opposite of the topic in this post where I want to BLOCK UK TV streaming platforms so I'm guessing if I put these into the denylist that may work. Assuming it does, do you happen to know what I would need to block ITVx, BBC iPlayer and My5 etc.? Any help would be very much appreciated.

    Thank you

Why would you want to block UK streaming platforms? Just don't use them. It seems odd to want to block sites and services you don't want - we'd end up blocking 90% of the internet if we went down that route.

To be fair I gave you no context around why I want to block them. It's actually for a very specific business application where I do ironically want to block 90% of the internet. As it happens I've gone through the Next DNS logs and one by one identified the domains required for the block list so unless they are clever enough to make them dynamic I should be sorted, but thanks for your reply.

    Best regards

    Richard
