Hundreds of daily request to cache.dciwx.com - what is going on here?

I just realized that my Android phone is making regular requests to cache.dciwx.com. The requests are made every 5-10 minutes. I tried to research it but to no avail.

Is that some kind of cache NextDNS is using, or is it related to an app on my phone?

And if it's related to an app on my phone, is there any way to narrow it down? A Whois request points to http://www.markmonitor.com, which is not very helpful as that is simply a domain registrar, so the result is not showing who is actually behind it.

This is definitely not from nextdns.

Seems to be a passive dns hostname associated with tech company Garmin, who's mostly known for making GPS/Navigation receivers
