hostname in config

I have nextdns installed on pfsense, in the config i have different ip's and subnets with different ID's. 

With ipv4 i can assign static ip addresses to the different ID's but with ipv6 they are dynamic, generated by the ISP, so that means I can't match the devie with the ID's. Is it not possible to assign hostnames to the ID's instead of ip's?

example:

config asus.local.lan={id number}

instead of

config 192.168.1.5/32={id number}
