Does Yogadns intercept dns traffic?

Running the client on windows I noticed that dns traffic goes to yoga.dns.nextdns.io before it goes to my nextdns id.

The yogadns website has no privacy policy page how am i supposed to trust this client?

    If the domain is really "yoga.dns.nextdns.io" as you reported, isn't that domain owned by NextDNS?

      MSA There’s indeed not much info in the database (redacted):

      https://www.whois.com/whois/nextdns.io

      However, since you configure NextDNS on my.nextdns.io the chances that nextdns.io is owned by NextDNS are extremely high.

    Don't worry @msa
    That's just a subdomain, and a way for NextDNS to direct specific responses to the tool Yoga.
    They also have the subdomain apple.dns.nextdns.io for instance. Have a look in your logs when you run ping.nextdns.io or test.nextdns.io (they are also subdomains)
