Web3

A new feature that has been added to NextDNS, can be found in the Settings tab, here is a quick explanation from the website.

"Web3 refers to a decentralized and censorship-resistant online ecosystem comprised of innovative technologies such as blockchain-based domain registries (e.g. Ethereum Name Service) and distributed content storage and delivery networks (e.g. IPFS). When enabled, NextDNS will act as an unfiltered gateway to this new Web, letting you experience it firsthand without the need to install anything."

Basically a more privacy focused way of browsing that is decentralized.

Wanted to post about it so anyone who wants to use it can know about it.

Can the current "Threat Intelligence Feeds" and blocklists stop threats on Web3 domains?! Feels a bit scary to enable this feature. I will keep it turned off for the moment, cause I don't see any use for it (yet).

It doesn't appear that Web3 entries are showing up in the logs. Is this intentional? For example, if I go to http://vitalik.eth/, the address is correctly resolved and I'm able to browse the site, but no corresponding entries show up in the logs.

I would like to know under what circumstances this can work? I can only get it to work when using DoT on my mobile (through iVPN), but not DoH or normal DNS on any device. Thus I can't use it on my laptop, only my mobile. Can someone shed some light? Is it to do with IVP6?
