A long password locked me out of my nextdns account?

I was able to signup with a long password, and have always been able to login to my.nextdns.io with it, but on trying to login to this forum i got a message saying my password is "too long"..

I had to resort to using the forgot password button to change the pass to something smaller, just to use this forum.
