Hey guys i am new here, i was wondering if i can use NEXTDNS to play games like pubg without losing my ping in the game while playing it? Because pubg is banned in my country by internet providers?

The answer is yours to get. Try playing and check your ping. No one can do it for you.

Also, if the game is forbidden in your country I don't see how NextDNS can help. Only a VPN might solve your problem.

I'd agree with this statement, I wouldn't exactly expect the DNS to solve routing issues on your ISPs end or bad latency.

Better bets can be to use a better router (recently I've changed to a much better router because I'm hopefully getting some real speedy internet soon and that brought my NextDNS latency from 29 to about 21) that can reduce your latency from your device to your router.

But the best solution would be to possibly ask your ISP for better routing or use Fiber if possible.

I'd still say use NextDNS though as the benefits are nearly endless.

thank you for the reply, although the game is banned in my country, but i have checked the game and it seems working normally, can dns be banned by my isp or is it not possible to ban a dns server?

      thank tou.

Aziz Khan A DNS can't be banned as a VPN, IPs are in fact black listed.

However your ISP could block queries that don't go through its DNS service, meaning you won't be able to use the Internet.
