Udm-pro uninstall itself cli

Hello team,

I have strange issue, I install on my UniFi udm-pro the cli app, configure and all working… but after few days ( always variable), app uninstall itself.

any idea how is possible?

    Each time there is a software update and it reboots - things go weird....
    Sometimes I get DNS errors, sometimes I get traffic still going to nextdns.

    Some clients die quicker than others on my network which probably means other things on how they use DNS.

     

    but bluntly - if you get a notification that your UDM updated itself - just reinstall the nextdns client on it regardless of it working or not....

    Run the installer
     

    sh -c "$(curl -sL https://nextdns.io/install)"

    Once its all verified and working type

    nextdns install

    Which will then copy it into ubios init so will persist after a reboot

       thats the work around - not the cause.

      If the firmware on the unit is updated - sometimes it doesnt persist.

      So if you get a firmware update - check - because its not always reactivated/installed, sometimes manual intervention is needed.
