Can't use the web while on school wifi.

    When my child is on her high school's wifi, she is not able to load permitted websites like she can from home or other wi-fi networks. Her school uses it's own DNS server to limit access to certain content, so it will not permit the use of the NextDNS software. 

    I know you can set up recreation time to allow access to specific sites but - Is there any way to set a schedule that will automatically have the NextDNS protection fully deactivate during school and reactivate afterwards?

       How is your child’s device setup for using NextDNS? It’s not possible to give any generic advice because of all the different ways NextDNS can be setup on a device.

      Make sure her computer is on auto DNS not specific

      On your router at home under dhcp make sure the nextdns ip is in this section, so at home it will automatically use nextdns protection

      Schools block it as they are doing their own protection and dont want you bypassing it
