Business Plan- MDM app deployment?

For iOS and macOS devices, similar to InTune with the parameters in the MSI file, can the app be deployed with profile settings via MDM for iOS and macOS? We basically need users to be able to turn it off if they hit a captive portal or something.

I can’t see any documentation for this part, I promise I looked! Just the profile itself…
